Technical Consultant/Application Programmer

- we are looking for skilled programmers with 2-4 years of
experience interested in a technical consulting/programmer
role within our professional services group. Our Technical
Consultants are responsible for customizing and implementing
our flagship product, Impact:ECS, for manufacturing
companies around the world. We deliver value to clients by
providing cost management software solutions for complex or
process manufacturers. We work closely with manufacturers in
a variety of vertical markets including semiconductor, food,
pulp & paper, textile, steel and chemicals.
As a Technical Consultant, you will work directly with our
development and implementation teams to develop client
solutions that handle manufacturing accounting information.

success.
Responsibilities
Assist in design and development of Impact:ECS for specific client environments
Responsible for managing project timelines and meeting deadlines for client engagements
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Business Management, Mathematics or equivalent
Proficient technical skills working with C++, Visual Basic, .net, SQL, Oracle, and ERP
Experience with web development using ASP.NET
2-4 years experience working in programming and/or consulting environment strongly preferred
General understanding of Business Objects and Crystal Reports a plus
Experience building specifications, writing documentation and testing
General knowledge of traditional ERP and MRP systems a plus (ie SAP, MAPICS)
Must be self-motivated, work well in team environments and
possess strong communication, presentation and project
management skills
Travel
50-75% to client locations in US and abroad
