FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
3C Software/Honeywell Agreement Delivers Costing Technology
to South American Paper Leader
3C Software, through its relationship with Honeywell,
expands its reach in the paper industry by implementing the
OptiVISION Cost Model powered by Impact:ECS at Empresas CMPC
S.A. headquartered in Santiago, Chile. The agreement, which
covers four (4) Chilean mill locations, will provide the
paper company with Honeywell's business logic solution that
incorporates the power and flexibility of Impact:ECS.
While the entire project will focus on the overall
order-to-cash process for Empresas CMPC, the cost model will
analyze data to get a true picture of the production costs
associated with pulp and paper manufacturing. Business
leaders will be able to get detailed cost information for
any stage of production and integrate cost data into other
systems to increase the integrity of all financial reporting
for the company. The first mill located in Maule, Chile, is
expected to go live with the OptiVISION system including the
Impact:ECS Cost Model by October 2005 with the remaining
mills to follow.
