Coors Brewing Company Becomes First Brewing Company to Implement Impact:ECS
Molson Coors Brewing Company, the fifth largest brewer by
volume in the world, has become the latest addition to the
growing roster of 3C Software clients. The Coors Brewing
Company Division has recently signed a software license and
professional services agreement to implement the Impact:ECS
Enterprise Cost System for its Golden, CO and Shenandoah, VA
production facilities.
The finance, accounting and IT teams from Coors will work
directly with 3C Software cost and manufacturing experts to
develop a comprehensive cost management process using
Impact:ECS’ flexible set of modeling and forecasting tools.
By mirroring Coors’ production process, the company will
have the ability to generate detailed cost by product,
improve production mix decisions, and discover opportunities
to reduce or eliminate costs. Reducing their dependence on
spreadsheets will make manufacturing costs transparent and
enhance Coors’ leaders understanding of their bottom line.
With the move into the brewing market, 3C Software continues
to expand its reach into new areas of process manufacturing.
