FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Longview Fibre Company has agreed to a software licensing and maintenance agreement for the Impact:ECS Cost Module as part of their implementation of the Honeywell OptiVision solution. The agreement, which covers Longview’s pulp, paper and converting operations, will allow the company to perform standard costing and inventory valuation tasks using the integrated cost module.
3C Software’s professional services team will also work with the Longview, Washington concern to build an actual-cost model capable of calculating the cost of each jumbo roll of paper produced. This level of detail will give Longview’s finance, operations, and sales teams the ability to make decisions based on transparent cost information.
“Since 1988, 3C Software has actively worked to help paper companies understand the complexities of costing. We are proud to continue to be the leader in cost systems in this industry,†shared Matthew Smith, CEO of 3C Software. “Our work with the Honeywell OptiVision team allows us to expand our reach and deliver solid costing expertise to paper companies worldwide.â€
