What is it and why did we create it?
Our many years developing cost and profitability systems for some of the world’s most recognized companies gives us a unique perspective on the how data connects. What we also learned was that finance and accounting leaders were lacking a framework to educate their colleagues in operations, sales, marketing and even their executives on these connections and how they impacted the business’ performance. The Cost Management Ecosystem is a concept that integrates all facets of cost accounting and cost management into one easy-to-understand framework that demonstrated the finite relationship between costing data.
