A CFO’s primary role is in finance, but in the current business environment, effective CFOs fill many other roles as well: contending with regulatory change, keeping an eye on dynamic trade patterns, staying up-to-date in the industry, adopting new technology and data modelling techniques, communicating enterprise-wide, and providing strategic direction for the business as a whole.
