Atlanta, Georgia
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

3C Software, providers of the enterprise cost management system, Impact:3C®, announced a software license agreement with Columbus, Georgia based Johnston Industries, Inc. Johnston will use Impact:3C to calculate and report detailed product and process costs. Johnston Industries joins over 25 additional textile manufacturers who have chosen Impact:3C as their cost management system.

3C Software’s product, Impact:3C®, is designed to handle the complex needs of process intensive manufacturing industries like textile, chemical, metals, pulp and paper, semiconductor, glass, electronics and food processing. Complex issues such as process yield/loss, product obsolescence/down grade, multiple/alternate product routings, and engineering change effective dates, as well as typical cost accounting calculations like allocations, burden rates and process throughputs, are easily handled by Impact:3C®. Impact:3C’s flexibility, driven by its object-oriented design, allows each client to model their own unique manufacturing process and cost methodology. The modeling process does not involve source code change, so implementations are much faster and much less expensive than traditional software implementations. Impact:3C® models can also be replicated for use in forward looking and what if scenarios.

Johnston Industries, Inc. is an award winning domestic manufacturer of industrial, home furnishing/hospitality and specialty textiles. Johnston manufactures a diversified line of textiles that are sold into the upholstery, automotive, industrial, bedding, home products, apparel, specialty goods, marine, sports, recreation, construction, defense and aerospace markets.
