3C Software CEO Invited to Deliver Cost Management Presentation at Collaborate09
23 January 2009
Atlanta, Georgia
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Collaborate09 Technical and Applications Forum for the Oracle Community is hosted by three of the largest and most influential user groups – Independent Oracle Users Group (IOUG), Oracle Applications Users Group (OAUG), and Quest International Users Group (Quest). As a member of Quest, 3C Software interacts with JDEdwards and Oracle users to understand their challenges and offer solutions in the area of cost management.
This year 3C Software’s CEO Matthew Smith along with Quest President and JR Simplot CIO Roger Parks will deliver a seminar on handling complex manufacturing costing using the Impact:ECS Enterprise Cost System. During this session, Mr. Smith will demonstrate how Impact:ECS works directly with JDEdwards and other manufacturing execution systems to calculate detailed product costs, develop budgets, and perform ‘what-if’ scenario analysis (shop now to get the required tools to conduct this analysis properly). Mr. Parks will provide real-life examples of how Impact:ECS has enhanced the costing function at Simplot and discuss the benefits of the combined JDEdwards/Impact:ECS approach.
“Simplot has become one of our most exciting success stories and we’re looking forward to providing the Collaborate attendees with a meaty discussion about costing in process environments,†commented Mr. Smith. “This session will offer process manufacturers an in-depth discussion of cost management challenges and solutions.â€
Collaborate 09 will be held May 3-7 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. To learn more about the event or to register, please visit www.collaborate09.com. For time and location details for the 3C Software cost management session, visit www.3csoftware.com/events.htm.
