Use your voice and join other thought leaders, practitioners, and visionaries to amplify the importance of cost management in driving performance. 

Our new LinkedIn video series – CostTalk Minute – is dedicated to sharing knowledge that can guide finance, operations, and executive teams to improve their decisions through better costing and profitability insights.  We want to present authentic voices across different roles, disciplines, and industries about the importance of these topics and I hope you’ll add your perspective and insights as one of our featured guests.

You may wonder how it all works, so I’ve shared a few questions to help you understand the process.

What do I do?

It’s easy.  We’ll ask you one question and you answer it in about a minute or two. 

What’s my question?

We’ll share some of our ideas, or let us know if there’s a topic you’re passionate about.  The primary requirement is that questions are focused on topics on costing and cost management, profitability, finance leadership, finance systems and transformation, or related areas.

How do I come up with my answer?

The best answers include 2 or 3 short points and a wrap up statement.  Hint: Write your bullet points on a post-it note that you can read when it’s placed next to your webcam lens.  This will help you remember your thoughts and make good eye contact at the same time.

Can I see an example?

We’re just getting started with our series, but we do have an episode from one of our 3C Software team members to give you an idea. Just click play on the video to the right!

What if I mess up?

Don’t worry!  We’ll have you answer the question a few different times so you can get comfortable.  We also have video editing magic to help us produce the best final clip. 

How will you record this?

Simple.  Zoom.  All you’ll need is Wi-Fi access, a quiet space, a web camera and a light.  We’ll schedule 30 minutes to get your answers recorded and that’s it. 

Who will see this video?

We will post these videos on the 3C Software LinkedIn company page (1500+ followers) and promoted on our website (250+ unique daily visitors) and other 3C social platforms.
