Enterprise Server

The heart of the client-server application is the ImpactECS Enterprise Server. This powerful calculation engine is completely scalable and can handle an unlimited number of products, routings, calculations and processes. Developed in C++, the Enterprise Server is a multi-threaded server application that utilizes multiple processors simultaneously to deliver the highest performance available. The centralized calculation engine performs basic mathematical operations, complex scientific functions, conditional logic and error messaging.

Processor: A modern dual-core processor or faster
Processor Speed: 1.0 GHz (minimum), 2.0 GHz or faster (recommended)
RAM: 2.0 GB (minimum), 4.0+ GB (recommended)
Disk Storage: 1.0 GB or higher (based on customer requirements) on installation drive
Operating System: Windows Server 2008 SP2, Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1, Windows Server 2012
Relational Database: Microsoft® SQL Server 2005, 2008, 2012, 2014; Oracle® 8i, 9i, 10g, 11g, 12c

Enterprise Desktop Client

As the primary interface to the Enterprise Server, this feature-rich environment has all the tools needed to build custom cost models to calculate product costs, compute variances, analyze forecasts and scenarios, create reports and build budgets.

Enterprise Web Client

Global companies need tools to stay connected. The Enterprise Web Client, developed using Microsoft ASP.NET, is a robust application that offers all the benefits of the desktop tool over the internet.

Client (Web Browser) Components: Microsoft® Internet Explorer 8.0 or later; Mozilla Firefox 2.0 or later; Google Chrome 1.0 or later; Opera 7.0 or later; Safari 3.0 or later

Excel Add-In

Finance and accounting departments at most companies rely on Microsoft ® Excel to review and analyze data. With the Excel Add-In, you can build and generate ImpactECS reports directly in Excel that are easy to share and manipulate.

Required Software: Microsoft® Office 2013 (x86 and x64), 2010 (x86 and x64), or 2007

All ImpactECS products are supported on Virtual Machines as long as they meet the hardware requirements.

Supported virtualization environments: VMWARE Workstation, Microsoft Hyper V, and Microsoft Virtual Server.
