Atlanta, Georgia
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
One of North America’s leading aluminum companies, Aleris Corporation manufactures rolled and extruded products by processing both primary and recycled scrap aluminum. Headquartered in Beachwood, Ohio, the $4 billion company has selected the ImpactECS Enterprise Cost System from 3C Software as the costing platform for its Rolled Products North America (RPNA) business unit.
Inventory valuation and cost of sales modeling are the focus of Aleris’ ImpactECS implementation. The consulting team from 3C Software will work directly with Aleris’ project teams to develop models that align with each of the company’s three RPNA sites. By connecting with Oracle and PRMS, ImpactECS will offer an integrated system that will reduce close cycles, improve data quality, and provide the ability to perform detailed analysis.
“Adding another fabricated metals company to our growing list of valued customers is very exciting for our company,” shared Scott Adams, 3C Software’s Director of Sales. “We’re delighted to have the opportunity to continually deliver world class costing solutions to meet the needs of process manufacturers in a wide range of industries.”
