2016 ImpactECS Users Conference Wrap-Up

As always, this year’s ImpactECS Users Conference brought people together from all around the world to learn and share ideas about all things costing and profitability!  Held at the amazing Loews Atlanta Hotel, this year’s event highlighted the release of ImpactECS 7.4 (coming July 2016) and our expanded focus on solutions beyond pure product costing.  Accounting and finance professionals from companies across the industries we serve were in attendance, making it a great networking event as well!

The next release, ImpactECS v7.4, offers lots of enhancements for developing models and making information accessible.  The most anticipated change was the inclusion of Dashboards as an ImpactECS report type.  By creating interactive and graphical interfaces, Dashboards delivers a powerful window into the analytical capabilities available with ImpactECS cost and profitability models.   In addition to other feature enhancements, another major addition to ImpactECS v7.4 is support for SAP HANA. For companies using SAP’s new in-memory database, now ImpactECS models can now run on HANA – eliminating the need for traditional relational databases.

The schedule was filled with informative and fun client presenters from Fruit of the Loom, Beaulieu of America, Triumph Aerostructures and Mohawk Fine Papers. Each speaker shared their complexities and challenges and how they were able to use ImpactECS to improve and expand their costing and profitability processes.  We did find time to have fun, too!  We treated our attendees to some great entertainment that included a casino night with an Elvis impersonator and an Atlanta Braves game in their final season at Turner Field.  Check out a few conference pics on our Facebook page.
